SongRise is a community song circle held in the oral tradition and designed to bring singing into our everyday lives. Typically, the songs are short, usually four lines or less, and we will sometimes layer songs for harmony and added richness. Check our Facebook for updates.

It is one of the most intimate acts: Bringing plants into our bodies offers a moment when our humanness is spirited by the plant. Then, as time passes, the plant’s energy is incorporated into us both as carbon, creating our very being, and as a resonance that remains and reminds, informs and inspires. Do the plants have something to share with you? Come together and commune. The space is held in meditation, song and with open sharing. The selected plants are designed to open our hearts, help us focus, and support healing. We welcome your presence and voice.
Cacao Ceremony:
The cacao is made from raw, organic cacao powder combined with a mixture of herbs and spices. The blend is different each time but I often include damiana, blue vervain, wild yam, sassafras, nutmeg, vanilla, cayenne pepper, maple syrup, and banana.
Kava Ceremony:
The Kava is a simple, whole-root extract of Nobel Kava from Vanuatu in room-temperature water kneaded in a nut-milk bag.
